Current List of Available Dogs

Zaya

Louie

Louie

Female

~3 years old

Mixed breed

60lbs

Zaya has just finished heartworm treatment but has a severe leg fracture (which will need amputated in the future).

She is good with other dogs.

She was previously abused and is still scared of sudden movements and load noises so we are requiring her to go to either a home with no children or children that are 10+yrs old to ensure they understand to be gentle and not scare her.

Louie

Louie

Louie

Male

~7 years old

Pittie Mix

50lbs

Louie has been in foster care for over a year. He originally came from a home where he was neglected and he has been battling a severe staph infection but he is now healed and ready to find his forever home!

Louie is great with other dogs (him and Zaya are currently together 24/7 and have never had any issues at all) but he will need a slow introduction due to him getting overly excited around new dogs at first.

Emmy

Louie

Female

~6 months old

Mixed breed

Emmy was picked up from animal control on New Years Eve. She is doing very well with potty training. She is a vocal little girl. She is shy and unsure of many things. She was in a home for the last couple weeks and they returned her due to them not being able to set any boundaries or correct her around their cat. They didn't give Emmy a chance to learn from a professional trainer so we are back searching for a forever home for her!

Koa

Koa

Male

~2 years old

Pittie mix

Koa was transferred to us from animal control after being hit by a train. He was in critical condition but he made it through and now he is looking for his forever home!

He previously lived with other dogs and reportedly did well with female dogs and iffy with males but they were unneutered. A meet and greet is required. We are unsure how he is with cats but over all he seems pretty unbothered and stays to himself vs interested in other animals. He is a HUGEEEEE cuddle bug! He loves to be loved on!

Kai

Koa

Kai

Male

~10 months old

Pittie Mix

Kai came to us from PG County's euthanasia list. He was past his deadline to be euthanized but by a miracle we were able to save this guy at the last second!

He is still very much a puppy and has a good bit of energy. He will be headed to training the first week of June and we know he will do great!

Dogs in Foster-to-Adopt Homes

Genesis

Female

~3 years old

American Bully

60lbs

Genesis was found tied to animal control's front door overnight, a few weeks ago.

She has a serious yeast infection throughout her body that is currently being treated.

Other than her skin issues, this girl is perfect! She is very calm and sweet. Dog friendly, kid friendly, and stranger friendly!

Unavailable Dogs in Our Care

Oso

Male

~2 yrs old

French Bulldog

20lbs

Oso was pulled from a partnering animal control. He is emaciated and has many other health issues we are currently addressing.

Vira

Female

~9 years old

Doodle

Vira came from a backyard breeding situation with 2 other females. She had huge mammary tumors which have been removed but one turned out to be cancerous. Vira will be living out the rest of her days with a hospice foster.

Millie

Millie

Female

~6 or 7 years old

Pittie mix

50lbs (5lb of that is probably her tumor)

Millie was surrendered to animal control because the owners could not afford to take care of her. She will be having her tumor removed soon and then will be available for foster or foster-to adopt!
